I saw my first cigar box guitar in 2009 and decided to build one. I do not play and knew nothing about building stringed instruments. It was a fun exercise and I was pretty happy with the results. I was quickly surprised at the positive response I received from friends and family. One thing led to another and eventually I started a little parts business focused on the needs of CBG builders.
