Chuck Bouwens here (Charlie to some of my friends). I live in Sparta Michigan. I retired from ATT in 2007 and after a few part time jobs I decided I needed a hobby. I came across a YouTube video with Justin Johnson playing a CDG. I 've always liked working with my hands so I thought this might be a good hobby to try. I've built at least 50 by now, including 3 six string, several four string (mostly ukuleles) a few one string canjos for the young grandkids, a couple tambourines, two cigar box amps and one lap steel. I gave about half of my builds to family and friends.
Now I wish I could play.
